When starting the game, matches occur on a novice map. The game can be playable from levels 1 to 6, this map features a set ratio of monsters and real players. The monsters are set to an easy difficulty as well.

Reaching level 7 unlocks the Normal difficulty, featuring tougher monsters while maintaining the same player-to-monster ratio.
Both novice and normal maps require 4 to 16 players to start a match.
