Items are key to survival in-game, so let’s look at the merchant who sells them. Access the merchant by clicking on the shop or pressing “J”. Use in-game Gold and Essences to purchase items. Higher friendship with the merchant unlocks more items, including rare ones.

• Sergeant
  This merchant sells weapons for offensive use.
  
  
• Officer
  This merchant sells various protective gear to defend against enemy attacks.
  
  
• Pedlar
  This merchant sells inventory items for storing looted in-game items.
  
• Doctor
  This merchant sells items for HP recovery and curing status effects from injuries.
  
• Smuggler
  This merchant sells talisman to enhance weapons and mysterious potions. You can also find rare items like vault and talisman.
  
  
• Warden
  This merchant sells items needed for extractors and various consumable supplies.

To access higher-grade or rare items, you must increase your friendship with the merchant. Completing requests or spending above a certain amount will raise friendship, unlocking the next tier of items for purchase.

• Trade with merchants for more than a certain amount
  If you’ve escaped safely with looted items, try selling them to the merchant. You can also buy the items needed. Trading a certain amount in total will increase your friendship with the merchant.
  
  
• Accomplish quests from merchant
  By accepting and completing quests from each merchant, you earn rewards and increase your friendship with them.
  
  1. Click the Quest menu.
  
  2. Accept the preferred quest from the merchant with whom you want to build trust.
  3. Then, complete the mission according to the quest requirements.
  4. Press the J key during the game to check your progress on the quest.
