1. General Provisions
1) This operating policy stipulates the basic matters to be observed by customers and the company in relation to the Hunter’s Arena: Revolution (hereinafter referred to as “Game”) service provided by Megalink Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Company”) and to prescribe matters necessary to consistently respond to various situations that may arise during the process of using and providing game services.
2) Matters not mentioned in this Operation Policy are handled based on the “Terms of Use”, the “Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, etc.” and other related laws and regulations, as well as common beliefs and sentiments shared by members of society.
3) This Operating Policy applies to all Hunter’s Arena: Revolution platforms (Steam, Epic Games, etc.) services.
2. Changes to Operation Policy
1) The Company may change its Operating Policy in order to provide stable game services and services that minimize customer inconvenience. If the Operating Policy changes, a GM will notify you through a notice on the official game community (https://steamcommunity.com/app/3013930). Customers are requested to check the contents of the notice for changes. If you are unable to confirm the changes, we cannot assist you with any problems that arise.
3. Company Obligations and Responsibilities
1) The Company strives to eradicate fraudulent activities specified in this Operating Policy and does its best to ensure that customers can use the Game smoothly.
2) The Company does not ask for customer accounts and passwords, and does its best to protect and manage personal information. However, if a government agency or judicial agency requests the provision of personal information through legal procedures, personal information may be provided to the relevant agency.
3) The Company receives reports of all types of bugs and errors that occur to customers through the Game’s official customer center and community, and does its best to quickly check and correct these issues.
4) While the Company does not normally intervene in disputes between players, in cases of repeated abuse, teaming, or coordinated harassment in PVP scenarios, the Company reserves the right to take action in accordance with this Operation Policy.
5) The Company may restrict part or all of the Game service if it determines that an abnormal or unintended phenomenon occurs and causes significant disruption to the smooth provision of game service.
6) The Company may restrict the use of game services by certain customers or groups in accordance with the “Sanctions for Misconduct” stipulated in this Operation Policy if they believe that the actions of certain customers or groups interfere with the smooth provision of game services or violate the Operation Policy.
4. Customer Obligations and Rights
1) Customers are obligated to be familiar with and comply with the Company’s Terms of Use and Operation Policy.
2) The Company owns all rights to information (characters, items, game money, etc.) generated when customers use game services, and customers are granted the right to use such information.
3) If a customer is treated unfairly or suffers damage while using the Game service, he or she has the right to raise an objection and request correction from the Company through legitimate methods and procedures. If he or she is treated unfairly or suffers damage from another customer, he or she has the right to report the details to the company. We reserve the right to notify other customers and request the application of this Operation Policy.
4) Customers have an obligation to be fully aware of the information officially delivered by the Company, and the Company is not responsible for any damage resulting from not being familiar with it.
5) Customers may not engage in any commercial activities using the Game service without prior consent from the company.
6) Customers may not use the information obtained through the Game service in any way such as copying, duplicating, modifying, translating, publishing, or otherwise without prior consent from the Company.
7) Customers may be penalized if they cause confusion to other customers by spreading false information that has not been officially announced by the Company.
8) Customers must notify the Company when they discover or encounter vulnerabilities in the Game service (bugs, system errors, illegal programs, etc.), and must not spread or exploit them to other customers. If the vulnerability is found and is misused or communicated to others without notifying the Company, it may be judged as intentional cheating and your use of game services may be restricted in accordance with this Operation Policy.
9) Customers can may inquiries, suggestions, and requests related to game services through the channel below.
5. Misconduct Policy
In order to provide a fair and smooth gaming environment to all customers, the Company has established regulations that customers must follow while using the Game.
All customers using the Game must follow the rules below.
1) Prohibition of Using Unauthorized Programs and Hardware Devices
The use of unauthorized (or not permitted by the Company) programs and hardware devices (such as mouse, Direct Access Memory(“DMA”) board, all hardware, etc., hereinafter collectively referred to as “unauthorized hardware”) that give an unfair advantage in the Game or impede fair play may result in severe sanctions, including permanent restrictions on the use of games and restrictions on the use of services on such hardware devices. The Company may conduct investigations into the use of unauthorized programs and hardware to create a fair gaming environment, and game play may be restricted for a certain period of time during the investigation. If you develop, advertise, trade, or distribute unauthorized programs or unauthorized hardware, you may be subject to in-game sanctions as well as an investigation by judicial authorities in accordance with relevant laws.
2) Prohibition of Unauthorized Modification of Client/Server/Data (Packets, etc.)
Unauthorized modification of the Game client (ini file manipulation, etc.)/server/data (packets, etc.) is an attack on the Game service and a violation of copyright law, and will be subject to strong sanctions.
3) Prohibition of Abuse of Service Vulnerabilities (Bugs and Systems)
Failure to report errors and bugs in the Game through official procedures and taking advantage of them to gain unfair profits will be subject to strong sanctions, and all character information such as acquired in-game goods and items will be recalled.
Additionally, distribution of bugs and ways to exploit the system will also be subject to sanctions.
4) Prohibition of Using Inappropriate Names
: While the Company does not normally intervene in disputes between players, in cases of repeated abuse, teaming, or coordinated harassment in PVP scenarios, the Company reserves the right to take action in accordance with this Operation Policy.
* In addition, if you change some of the spelling of the name or mix other characters before or after the string to express an inappropriate name, the name will be changed to an arbitrary name and sanctions will be taken without any further notice.
6. Policy on Offensive Language
1) Prohibit the Use of Inappropriate Language, such as Profanity, Insults, or Verbal Violence
Any act that is deemed to be offensive to other customers or that may create a negative perception will be considered a negative act and is subject to sanctions.
① Using profanity, abusive language, etc.
② Using expressions or actions that cause feelings of sexual shame
③ Acts of belittling, ridiculing, or criticizing a specific region, religion, race, disability, etc.
④ Threats to reality, expressions and actions that may cause fear in others
⑤ Expressions prohibited by other terms and conditions and actions that cause discomfort or disgust to the other party
2) Actions Regarding Attempted Cash Transactions
Any attempt to trade in cash will be subject to sanctions. Acts deemed to be intended to trade cash/stocks using nicknames or names created in custom game modes, attempts or advertising an account transaction, trading cash/stocks through nicknames, and intention to trade cash/stocks through speculative methods.
3) Promotion and Advertising
Promoting and advertising content unrelated to the Game or company in a space where a large number of customers can view it will be subject to sanctions. This refers to all acts of using the Game service for advertising purposes other than the original purpose of the Game service, such as profit, sales, advertising, publicity, etc.
4) Prohibition of Abnormal Team Composition (TEAMING)
If you violate the Game rules by forming a team in a way that is not officially recognized by the Game (or not created by the normal game system), you will be subject to sanctions. If you gain an in-game advantage by forming a team with a user who repeatedly or intentionally uses unauthorized programs, it may be considered an abnormal team composition and sanctions may be taken.
5) Prohibition of Personal Information Leakage
Leaking the personal information of other customers in any way, such as providing the personal information of other customers to a third party or posting it in a space where multiple customers can view it, is considered an infringement on the individual’s privacy and will be subject to sanctions.
6) Abusing
The act of customers manipulating additional accounts other than their own, or making unfair gains in exchange for cash or real goods/services under mutual agreement with certain customers (proxy games), the act of the same person taking advantage of multiple accounts, and the act of playing the Game through other illegal means will be subject to strong sanctions and all character information such as game goods and items acquired will be recovered.
7) Act of Stealing Someone’s Account
If we detect that you are accessing or attempting to access an account that does not belong to you, we may impose account usage restrictions to protect your information and account.
8) Prohibition of Account Trading/Selling
Any act of accessing an account that is not yours and trading or selling the account or game data within the account without the written consent of the Company will be subject to sanctions.
9) Disruption of Operations
Any act that interferes with the Company’s normal game operations, such as spreading false information, abusing the customer center windows, impersonating an employee, or promoting and spreading rumors may be subject to a maximum permanent suspension depending on the severity.
10) Prohibition of Abnormal Game Play
In order to create a fair game play environment, the Company may impose sanctions on the account if abnormal game play patterns that cannot be implemented in the Game are detected.
11) Refund After Purchase of Cash Goods
Refunds will not be granted for cash items or in-game currency once they have been used.
Because the use of cash items and in-game currency directly affects the in-game economy, any refund request made after partial or full use of such items will be considered abuse of the refund system and may result in permanent suspension of service access.
However, if a refund is requested while the purchased item remains untouched in the mailbox, the operations team will verify the request, retrieve the item, and then process the refund.
Please note that during this investigation period, the account associated with the request may be temporarily restricted from accessing the game in order to complete the refund and item recovery process.
12) Other Undefined Misconduct
Among the acts not defined in this Operation Policy, such as acts that violate the laws of the Republic of Korea and account IP standards, account sharing, account transactions, false reporting, spreading false information, publicity and advertising which negatively affect the smooth service provision of the Game or other customers, measures will be taken after carefully reviewing the exact grounds and circumstances.
7. Sanctions for Misconduct
1) Sanctions are used to protect the smooth play of customers.
2) If you commit an illegal act in this Operation Policy, your use may be restricted without prior notice according to the sanctions standards.
3) In the case of a violation that is greater than the previous, permanent suspension of use will be imposed.
4) If you are sanctioned for cheating, you will be temporarily or permanently excluded from events and rankings.

5) Exploitation of service vulnerabilities (bugs and systems) is defined as an act that can destroy the game balance by taking unfair advantage of goods and items that can be obtained in the Game by exploiting errors in the Game. Depending on the severity, strong sanctions such as permanent suspension of use may be applied.
6) In principle, the Company considers the sanction period specified in the “Sanction Criteria for Misconduct” as the highest level of sanctions, but depending on the severity of the violation, higher or lower level sanctions may be applied. (For example, if cheating is repeatedly confirmed or more than one cheating is identified at the same time, higher level sanctions or permanent suspension may be applied.)
7) In order to protect the use of the Game by good customers and provide a smooth service, the Game can be blocked from running on hardware devices where cheating has occurred.
8) Character information such as in-game goods and items acquired through cheating may be deleted, and depending on the severity of the cheating, not only the character information acquired through cheating, but also all character information in the account may be deleted as well.
8. Policy to Protect Human Rights of Service Personnel
For the purpose of creating a healthy gaming culture, the Company has established regulations that customers must follow while using games.
Service representatives are members of a company that works to help customers, and at the same time, they are individuals who must be protected. Personal protection of service representatives is a measure for all customers who will use the service. The Company seeks to ensure and actively protect the humane treatment of all executives and employees. Accordingly, if you violate the human rights of the service representative and interfere with game operation, a warning, suspension of CS processing, and restrictions on game use may be applied.
1) Acts that interfere with game operation by violating the human rights of service personnel are as follows:

④ Other Acts · Inquiries and Phone Calls Accompanied by Words or Actions that May Indirectly Cause Serious Psychological Damage · Actions Taken Through Visiting
2) If the human rights of service personnel are violated through CS inquiries, the following measures may be taken in accordance with the Operation Policy.

※If abusive language, sexual harassment, invasion of character, or threatening expressions are repeated after the 3rd sanction, the Game restriction (7-days) may be applied cumulatively. A maximum of up to 30 days of accumulated sanction is possible.
※ If the level of human rights violations by service personnel is deemed to be serious, as shown in the example below, use of the Game may be restricted without prior warning.
① Profanity, insults, or verbal abuse using the service representative’s appearance or specific body parts
② Requesting a private meeting with a service representative and making obscene jokes
③ Targeting and using sexual language, profanity, and verbal abuse toward family members of service personnel
④ Showing or sending photos or content that may be sexually humiliating to service personnel
⑤ Any other words or actions that may cause the service representative to feel sexual disgust or shame
※ If abusive language, sexual harassment, or personal injury occurs in multiple accounts accessed from the same IP or device information, it may be considered an act by the same person and action may be taken.
9. Recovery Policy
1) We cannot assist with losses arising from the customer’s own negligence or failure to understand the Game system, contents specified in the Operation Policy, contents announced in the Game, or contents posted on the website.
This service policy will be effective from December 4, 2024.
